３．Background and Objective of the Team
Nagoya has developed as a famous craftsmanship and now known as the economical center of Chubu Area in Japan. This result is the energetic effort of promoting the craftsmanship industry, agriculture, forestry and fishery after the World War II. All of these accomplishments include the effective technologies and experiences which is applicable in aid-development for the developing country such as ASIA. Considering the origin of the affluence of the Nagoya metroplex, aid-development using technologies and experiences of this area is considered as a better way for the social contribution which lead to the revitalization of the economy of this area.
Considering the aid-development, a positive dialog with the people who know the actual situation and the needs of those target country is indispensable. About the infrastructure improvement, Japan has high technologies and experiences. If we only export those technologies and experiences to the developing country without adjusting to the acceptable form, it is not truly an applicable method.
There are many Asian foreign students included Cambodian playing active part in Nagoya metroplex. Understanding local information and study the state of cooperation from those people is considered as a useful method. Their technical capabilities, linguistic capacity and networks with those who already returned to worked in private companies , local authorities or school in their home country is not only useful for the mentioned activities but their backup and cooperation also make it possible to form an aid-development project which connect Nagoya metroplex to Asian country.
There are many Japanese who interested in Cambodian history including Angkor Wat. But there are still less Japanese companies doing business in that country. By promoting the exchange and solidarity with Cambodian people in Nagoya metroplex, NATOCDS is formed to solve the problems on development the Kingdom of Cambodia, and later on create projects which lead to a new business.
